Placemats
This is a great way to get used to painting on heavyweight canvas before you move on to larger floorcloths: Placemats! They make wonderful gifts as well. Placemat blanks (without hems-just a cut edge) may be ordered in sets of four in #4 weight (Heavy) or #8 weight. They are all preprimed on one side and are soft raw canvas on the back to avoid scratching the table surface.
Paint them any way you like and seal with 2 coats of poly for a wipeable finish.
