Blank floorcloths are made from heavyweight #8 and #4 cotton canvas. These floorcloths have been shrunk, primed and have a sewn hem with carefully mitered corners. Each is ready to paint and finish your way.

Placemat blanks - primed, cut & ready to paint

This is a great way to get used to painting on heavyweight canvas before you move on to larger floorcloths: Placemats! They make wonderful gifts as well. Placemat blanks (without hems- a plain cut edge) may be ordered in sets of four in #4 weight (Heavy) or #8 weight. They are all preprimed on one side and are soft raw canvas on the back to avoid scratching the table surface. Photo here.

Primed and hemmed floorcloths #4 (very heavy) canvas:

Any size (up to 118" wide)=$8/sq.ft.

The two different weights [#8 (18 0z.) and #4 (24 oz.)] we carry are significantly heavier than the floorcloth canvas usually purchased at art supply stores. (For example FredrixTM canvas is only 12 oz.) Ours costs a little more than other brands, but the final floorcloth will last longer and will lie flat around the edges. If you put all that work into painting a great floorcloth design, you deserve to expect it to look its best for a long time.
